Openness is the foundation of good scientific practice and is anchored in the core principles of the code of conduct "Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice" of the German Research Foundation. This opens up new possibilities for engaging with research results beyond the academic communities - enabling science and the public to engage in a dialogue. In this context, Open Science encompasses the aspects of transparency, reproducibility, reusability, and open communication - principles that are reflected in its various constituent elements, such as Open Access, Open Data, and Open Educational Resources.
In collaboration with the Department of Research and Transfer (currently only in german), the University Library promotes the principles of Open Science at Hochschule Düsseldorf - and thereby supports you as scholars, researchers, and authors.
Through various services - such as information and advice on Good Scientific Practice, literature search and management, guidance on various publication options, the assignment of identifiers, and research data management - we support you in your publication endeavors.
