Loss of the library card

​If you have lost your library card:

  • ​​Contact the university library immediately! 
    The user is liable for any costs and disadvantages incurred by the University Library as a result of non-compliance with this regulation.
  • Your library account will be blocked until a new library card can be issued. The old library card loses its validity or can no longer be used. This means that it can no longer be misused. 

  • The cost of the replacement library card is Euro 10.00. 
    Please ask at the service desk for special regulations for HSD employees.​


If the library card is damaged:


  • Present the library card on your next visit to the university library and have it replaced.

  • The cost of a replacement library card is Euro 10.00.

The HSD Card or the library card are
transferable under any circumstances!
