Digitalization: Acquire Content

Bib > library > Digitalization: Acquire Content

The diversity and universality of electronic offerings require different methods of providing information from a wide variety of sources.

The University Library is responsible for the expert selection of digital and analog information resources. In this context, needs-based acquisition strategies are evolving in line with the ongoing digitization process:

E-Preferred

Patron-Driven-Acquisition

Magazines and books are increasingly being licensed in electronic form - preferably without DRM - rather than purchased as print editions.

In this way, the University Library provides a wide range of resources with unlimited access.
The University Library offers more than 300,000 titles on e-book platforms, which can be borrowed or purchased upon request.

In this way, the University Library ensures that specialized literature can be obtained quickly and in accordance with user needs.

The selection of content provided is subject to ongoing updates. The University Library is responsible for continuously acquiring new digital content.
