From May through September, a North Rhine-Westphalia-wide training program for researchers will feature numerous events on the topic of Research Data Management (RDM) – online, free of charge, and practice-oriented.
HSD is on board...
...and, together with other universities of applied sciences, is offering several events, including an online information session on TransFAIR as a bridge between academia and practice:
"Research Data in TransFAIR – Building Bridges Between Academia and Practice"
When: Wednesday, June 17, 2026, 4:00–5:30 p.m.
Where: Zoom (Register here)
Knowledge transfer doesn't work without FAIR data!
This session will explore this idea in depth. It will examine the relationship between knowledge transfer and the FAIR principles, and discuss how research data management relates to the transfer of data and knowledge between universities and external partners.
The event will provide useful tips for FAIR data practices, discuss the opportunities and obstacles to data transfer, and present examples of existing data bridges. TransFAIR focuses on building bridges between science and practice, theory and application, and research and society.
We warmly invite
Researchers at all career stages - including student researchers.
The event is jointly organized by Münster University of Applied Sciences, Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, and OWL University of Applied Sciences, and is open to all researchers in North Rhine-Westphalia as part of the state-wide training program.
