Check legal databases with a single click and avoid fabricated legal citations generated by AI applications
The BIB now offers access to lawlink, a tool for verifying legal citations in AI-generated texts and your own texts.
lawlink:
Highlight legal citations in a document
Then check which legislation, case numbers and journal references can be verified in legal databases.
lawlink searches both freely accessible resources such as ‘Gesetze im Internet’ and databases licensed by the BIB, e.g. beck-online + juris, including specialist and supplementary modules.
It also identifies citation errors (even without the use of AI). This helps to improve the quality of academic papers, specialist essays or expert reports.
Register – and then?
HSD members with email addresses ending in @hs-duesseldorf.de and @study.hs-duesseldorf.de can register via the registration portal.
Once registered, you can use the free Campus Pro plan.
The provider will send a few emails over the course of several days introducing various features of lawlink. Each email contains a link that allows you to unsubscribe from these informational emails.
As well as the web portal, you can also install lawlink as a desktop app or browser extension on your device.
