Due to an internal event, the BIB will be open on Thursday, August 13, 2026, as a place to work and study.
As a result, the following services, among others, will not be available:
- No telephone support or in-person assistance at the Service Point or in the departments
- No check-outs or returns at the Service Point (use of the self-checkout stations or the return station is possible)
- No returns of media ordered through interlibrary loan
- No pickup of reserved titles
- No borrowing or returning of media from the Testothek
- No new registrations
- No fee payments at the Service Point (alternatively, payments via bank transfer are possible)
- No processing of acquisition suggestions or e-book requests
