Thursday, September 24, 2026: BIB Open as a Place to Work and Study

Due to an internal event, the BIB will be open on Thursday, September 24, 2026, as a place to work and study.

As a result, the following services, among others, will not be available:

  • No telephone support or in-person assistance at the Service Point or in the departments
  • No check-outs or returns at the Service Point (use of the self-checkout stations or the return station is possible)
  • No returns of media ordered through interlibrary loan
  • No pickup of reserved titles
  • No borrowing or returning of media from the Testothek
  • No new registrations
  • No fee payments at the Service Point (alternatively, payments via bank transfer are possible))
  • No processing of acquisition suggestions or e-book requests
