Open Access note:
Many journals are now published in the form of Open Access. These journals have terms of use that allow subsequent use (e.g. passing on articles). In the EZB, this is indicated by the green traffic light symbol. In some cases, it is noted in the detailed text of the journal if there are no further rights of use - then the following terms of use must be observed.
Terms of use
As a rule, this applies to journals marked with a yellow or yellow/red traffic light symbol.
The following is permitted for personal academic use:
- to use electronic journals within the scope of the license terms of the individual providers
- to save individual search results (including full-text articles) locally
- to print out individual search results (including full-text articles) as a paper copy
The following is not permitted
- any use outside the license terms of the individual providers
- any use that goes beyond the user's own scientific use
- use for commercial purposes
- systematic or multiple saving (in particular by robots)
- saving, printing and/or archiving entire issues of electronic journals
- passing on licensed material to third parties who are not authorized users
- renting or selling the data
- placing the data on the user's servers
- modifying the licensed material
