Students at the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf who are disadvantaged due to a disability or chronic illness can take advantage of a seperate loan period of 56 days.
The loan period may be extended if:
- no reservation has been made.
- the maximum loan period of 224 days has not yet been reached.
- you have not yet reached the 30-euro fee limit in your library account.
- it is not a reference copy, a journal, a material obtained through interlibrary loan, or part of a course-specific books.
To apply:
In order to make use of the loan period adjustment, you need a valid certificate issued by the Disability Services (Arbeitsstelle Barrierefreies Studium - currently only in german).
You can only use the longer loan period with a valid certificate issued by the Disability Service. Submit the certificate at the service point during our
service hours.
