Energy meters can now be borrowed from the University Library, which can help to monitor energy consumption in the home and reduce consumption.
The packages each contain an energy meter, a switchable socket and information material on the subject of ‘Saving energy in the home’. They have a loan period of 28 days (extendable up to a maximum loan period of 112 days).
The devices have been made available as part of the ‘No-Energy’ campaign subsidised by the Federal Environment Agency.
