Exhibition “Seed of Infinity” by Yumi Watanabe
As part of the “Japan Day” at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences on September 23, 2026, the exhibition “Seed of Infinity” by artist Yumi Watanabe will open.
Yumi Watanabe, born in 1980 in Kagoshima, Japan, has lived and worked in Düsseldorf since 2006. Her artistic practice centers on photography, video, and spatial installations. She explores the boundaries and shifts between a memory that persists within a person, beyond any sense of time, and a nature that is constantly changing in the flow of time.
The works will be shown from
Wednesday, September 23, 2026, through Wednesday, November 18, 2026,
at the University Library.
The exhibition can be visited during the University Library's opening hours.
