DIN standards and draft standards, including preliminary standards and supplements, VDI guidelines

Access to the full text of the standards is available via the Nautos standards platform.
Access is available exclusively via the university network and, from off-campus, via EZproxy.
Included are current DIN standards and VDI guidelines (except for DIN standards with VDE classification) as well as historical DIN standards (the majority of DIN standards withdrawn since 1978). Additionally included are references (not full texts) to the most important national and international standards (ISO, IEC, ITU).​

VDE Standards Library

Full-text access is available through the VDE Standards Library database.
Access is available exclusively via the university network and, from off-campus, via EZproxy.
The database includes current VDE standards as well as VDE standards that were withdrawn or replaced after January 1, 1993. It also includes DIN standards with VDE classification.​

Terms of use: Nautos and VDE Standards Library

The databases are available to all users of the University Library. However, external users may only access the database on-site at the Library.
Access includes the use of the content in accordance with the provisions of the German Copyright Act. Any disclosure of the data, in whole or in part - whether on an electronic medium, via remote data processing, or as paper copies - that is not covered by Section 53 of the Copyright Act and other provisions, as well as granting access to third parties to the stored data and the commercial dissemination of information, is not permitted.
Authorized users may print out the data obtained in the course of their own research and/or save it to a USB drive for their own exclusive scientific use.
In contrast, sending standards - in whole or in part - via email is not permitted.​
